Long & Foster Community Service Day
The annual Long & Foster Community Service Day was held on Wednesday Jun 2. The New River Valley offices participated in 3 different community projects. A group of 3 agents worked at the Radford Worship Center's food pantry helping with a bathroom demolition. Another group of 5 agents and staff worked on some landscaping projects for the Giles County Senior Center. The largest group of agents, staff and friends worked at Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program's thrift store cleaning, painting and sorting. A lot was accomplished and we had fun doing it.... It is great to work for a company that is so involved in the community.

Successful American Cancer Society Fundraiser
Every year the two New River Valley Long & Foster REALTORS offices host a yard sale to benefit the American Cancer Society. This year's yard sale was held on Saturday May 15th. It was a complete success. Over $2700 was earned at the yard sale. Generous donations from the regional Vice-President Pat Clark, and others put the grand total to $3000. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time, donated items, and made purchases - these cooperative efforts made a difference in our community!
